Monks Barn Farm

Monks Barn Farm is on a small working farm and accessed by a private tarmac road. It offers beautiful views across the river meadows to the Ilmington Hills and is within easy reach of Stratford, Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Warwick and the Cotswolds and numerous National Trust properties and historical sites and gardens.

 

The pitches are level mown grass with electrical hook-ups and plenty of space for awnings. Some hard standings are available.

There is a delightful walk from the site along the banks of the River Stour and into the village of Clifford Chambers where the pub offers excellent food and for the more energetic there are numerous country walks.

 

Prior to the Reformation, Clifford Chambers supported a community of Benedictine Monks and this has given rise to the name of our property. A medieval timber-framed thatched barn, which we have recently restored, is still a feature of our farm today.

Local shops, and restaurants are all within easy reach and the Park and Ride to the south of Stratford is only three quarters of a mile along the road. Public transport is within 300 yards of our entrance.
